This stream is a part of Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada’s (IRCC’s) temporary public policies, i.e., the Temporary Resident to Permanent Resident Pathway. Through this stream, French-speaking skilled workers living in Canada with legal status and working in a healthcare occupation can apply for a Canadian Permanent Residence Visa.
Language Requirement
The skilled worker must demonstrate proficiency in the French language by achieving a minimum of Niveaux de compétence linguistique canadiens (NCLC) Level 4 in all four modules, namely listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
Employment Requirement
To submit an application under this stream, skilled workers should be legally working in Canada as paid employees (at the time of submission or application) and have at least 1 year (or 1,560 hours) of work experience in the past 3 years (from the date of submission of the profile) in one of the below stated occupations.
NOTE:Experience gain within Canada being self-employed will not be counted for this application, but if the candidate is working as a medical doctor in a fee-for-service arrangement with a health authority, it will be considered.
