As more health care professionals are needed in British Columbia, the BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) Skills Immigration (SI) – Healthcare Professional category assists Physicians, Specialists, Nurses, and Allied Health Professionals working in B.C. and obtaining permanent residence.
To qualify, you must have a valid job offer from a B.C. employer. You also need relevant training and experience.

2. If you are a midwife, you must have a letter of confirmation from a well-established practice group in British Columbia.
3. At least two (2) years of directly related work experience is required.
4. Have legal immigration status in Canada, or be eligible for it.
5. Meet the minimum language requirements for NOC skill level B occupations.
6. Make a wage offer that is competitive with B.C. wage rates for the occupation.
