BC PNP Targets Tech and Other Specific NOCS, Invites 198 Applicants

What are the BC PNP eligibility criteria?
To be eligible for this stream, you need to:
Have a full-time, permanent job offer from a British Columbia employer in a skilled occupation (NOC Skill Type 0, Skill Level A, Skill Level B, or Skill Level C).
Be qualified for the job and possess a minimum of two years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) work experience in any skilled occupation (NOC Skill Type 0, Skill Level A, Skill Level B, or Skill Level C).
Demonstrate financial capability to support yourself and any dependents.
Hold legal immigration status in Canada or be eligible to obtain it.
Meet the language proficiency requirements if the job falls under NOC Skill Level B or C.
If you’ve recently completed a degree, diploma, or certificate from an eligible Canadian post-secondary institution, you may qualify with a job offer from a B.C. employer in specific NOC categories.
Be authorized to work in your occupation in British Columbia.
Ensure your wage offer aligns with prevailing rates in British Columbia for the occupation.
For the BC PNP Tech stream, there are additional criteria. Applicants must have a minimum of 120 days left on their current employment contract and hold a full-time job offer from a qualifying employer anywhere in British Columbia.
What is the process to apply for the BC PNP tech stream?
The BC Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) follows a three-stage process:
Stage 1: Registration
Create an online profile on the BCPNP Online platform.
Provide all required information.
Your registration will be evaluated, considering factors like work experience, education, and job location.
While registration is free, receiving an invitation to apply is not guaranteed.
Your registration remains active for up to 12 months or until you are invited.
Stage 2: Invitation
Periodically, the BC PNP will select candidates from the registration pool and extend invitations.
Upon receiving an invitation, you’ll have 30 days to submit a comprehensive application via BCPNP Online.
It is essential to meet program criteria during both the registration and application stages.
Stage 3: Application
For specific streams, eligible applicants can directly apply through BCPNP Online.
