On March 29, 2021, the Canadian province Nova Scotia conducted its second (2) draw of the year 2021 under Nova Scotia Nominee Program’s (NSNPs) Labor Market Priority Stream (LMPS).
In this draw, the candidates meeting the minimum eligibility criteria received an Invite to Apply (ITA) for applying for Permanent Residence in Nova Scotia.
The minimum eligibility requirements for receiving an Invite to Apply (ITA) were as follows:
• Candidates should have French as their first official language and English as a second official language.
• Candidates should have CLB 9 or higher in French (in all modules), and CLB 7 or higher in English (in all modules).
• Candidates should have a Bachelor’s Degree OR have completed a program of three or more years at a university, college, trade or technical school, or another institute is required.

Applicants are required to submit their NSNPs Labour Market Priority Stream (LMPS) Application within 30 calendar days from the date on which letter of interest was issued.

Is it mandatory to have an Express Entry profile for Nova Scotia's Labor Market Priority Stream?
Yes, it is mandatory for an applicant to meet IRCC criteria for the Express Entry pool, and have an active Express Entry number.
