The first Express Entry draw for the month of July was held on July 4, 2023, at 14:23:38 UTC, by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Canada’s immigration authority. Immigrants were given the opportunity to enter the Canada Express Entry draw in order to submit an application for a Canadian PR visa. No particular program was the subject of this Canada Express Entry draw.
The most recent Express Entry draw #253 featured nominations and invitations for 700 competent individuals who have current Express Entry profiles. As of July 4, 2023, IRCC 214,529 reported that immigrants had successfully submitted their profiles. And according to the CRS score, the majority of immigrants, that is 54,732, have a score between 451 and 500; this is followed by 726 immigrants with a score between 501 and 600; and 353 applicants with a score between 601 and 1200.

The first-ever Express Entry category-based draw was held by IRCC last week on June 28, inviting 500 healthcare professionals with a minimum CRS score of 476. On that same day, IRCC revealed that this week’s category-based Express Entry round would include STEM occupations as an invitational group.
In any all-program draw of 2023, the current CRS score of 511 is the highest ever recorded. It is considerably higher than it was in the most recent all-program draw on June 27, when 4,300 candidates were invited and had a minimum CRS score of 486, which was 486. Furthermore, it has 35 more points than the 476 needed in the category-based draw on June 28.
Canada is regularly conducting draws to fulfill its labor market requirement and the next Express Entry Draw is to be held today itself i.e. 5th of July, 2023 it is going to be a Category Specific Draw that will invite the healthcare workers this would be the second category based to draw the first was also conducted for the healthcare profiles.
