Explore PR OptionsUse the Australia Skilled Migration Points Calculator to estimate your points for the Skilled Independent (189), Skilled Nominated (190) and Skilled Work Regional (491) visa pathways. This self-assessment follows the Australian skilled migration points test and separately checks essential visa conditions.
The minimum threshold is 65 points. Reaching 65 does not guarantee an invitation, state nomination, visa approval or that your occupation is eligible for a particular subclass.
Complete the sections below. The calculator checks your English results, calculates points and highlights potential eligibility issues.

This is a preliminary self-assessment, not a decision of the Department of Home Affairs or a guarantee of invitation, nomination or visa grant.
Subclasses 189, 190 and 491 use the federal points test. State nomination and regional nomination/sponsorship can add points for the relevant subclass only.
