The province confirmed the Entry Level and Semi-Skilled (ELSS) stream is closed on April 23, 2026. Its last invitations were issued on December 10, 2024.
Old nine-month employment, sector lists and registration instructions are historical and should not be used for a new ELSS application.

Eligibility and pathways
The former ELSS stream covered specified lower-skilled roles under earlier criteria. It is not accepting new registrations. Workers should assess their NOC TEER classification, Canadian work history, employer support and other provincial or federal programs; no automatic replacement stream exists.
