BC PNP Tech Program

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC-PNP) Tech is a pathway that helps tech employers in British Columbia recruit and retain international skilled workers in tech occupations when local skilled workers are unavailable.

Benefits to Applicants

• Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) not required
• Work permit support letters are provided to selected candidates in order for them to apply for a new work permit or renew their current work permit and continue to work while their federal permanent residence application is being processed.

Job Offer Requirements

The job offers under BC-PNP Tech must meet the following eligibility requirements:

• The offered job must be for a single job in one of BC PNP Tech’s eligible occupations
• The job offer must be at least one year in duration (365 days)
• There must be at least 120 calendar days remaining on the job offer at the time of application.
