The new International Education Stream (IES) of Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) is for Manitoba graduates is dedicated to providing international students graduating in Manitoba with faster pathways to nomination, while also meeting the needs of industry.
There are three pathways:
The Career Employment Pathway expedites nomination processes for post-secondary students who graduate and find long-term employment in Manitoba in an in-demand occupation that matches their training. If you meet these requirements, you will be able to apply to the MPNP immediately after graduating and receiving a job offer.
Factors | Minimum Requirement |
---|---|
Education | You must have graduated within the last three years from a Manitoba-approved post-secondary institution (minimum one year, two semesters, full-time coursework). |
Official Languages | Minimum CLB/NCLC 7 (or equivalent) |
Current Employment in Manitoba | You must have a full-time job offer from an eligible Manitoba employer with a minimum one-year contract on Manitoba’s In-Demand Occupations list that is consistent with your completed Manitoba programme of studies. You must be employed full-time in Manitoba at the time your application is reviewed. |
Settlement Funds | You must demonstrate liquid funds equivalent to Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) requirements for independent financial resources for a six-month period. OR You must be employed in a full-time, long-term position in Manitoba. |
Adaptability | You must be a Manitoba resident at the time of application, and continue to remain in Manitoba after nomination, including the submission of a Career Employment Plan outlining opportunities for a successful career path in Manitoba. |
