BC PNP Entrepreneur Draw: Base and Regional Scores Fall to 118 on 20 October 2026

British Columbia held its latest BC PNP Entrepreneur Immigration draw on 20 October 2026, issuing 10 invitations in the Base stream and fewer than five in the Regional stream. Both streams recorded a minimum registration score of 118.

This round concerns business applicants planning to invest in and actively manage a business in British Columbia. It was separate from Skills Immigration selection for workers.

The province reports the Regional figure as "<5", so an exact combined total cannot be stated. The minimum score was one point below the 119 recorded for both streams on 22 September 2026.

Which business applicants may qualify?

The Base stream allows a qualifying new business or the purchase and expansion of an existing business. Regional applicants must establish a new business aligned with a participating community's priorities.

Applicants must also satisfy business experience, education, eligible-business and active-management conditions. Meeting the investment threshold alone does not establish eligibility or secure an invitation. Regional businesses must be in a participating community outside the Metro Vancouver Regional District.

What an invitation means for your PR plans

An invitation is permission to submit a full provincial application, rather than a nomination or PR approval. The Base stream gives invited applicants up to four months to submit their complete application.

Approved entrepreneurs sign a performance agreement and receive support for a work-permit application. They must then establish and actively manage the business and meet their agreed commitments before nomination. Permanent residence requires a separate IRCC application and decision.

Entrepreneur Immigration currently charges CAD 300 for registration and CAD 3,500 for the provincial application. Federal immigration fees and other costs are additional; the investment minimum is not an all-inclusive relocation budget.

What this means if you are applying as a skilled worker

The 118 threshold belongs to Entrepreneur Immigration. It does not replace a worker-stream score or an Express Entry CRS score. The most recent listed Skills Immigration round remains the 15 October rural/remote health support round, covered in our report on the 16 health support invitations.
