Migration Tasmania's 29 October 2026 update records 64 invitations to apply for subclass 190 nomination and 26 for subclass 491 nomination: 90 in total. These figures describe state nomination invitations, not visa grants.
| Measure | Subclass 190 | Subclass 491 |
|---|---|---|
| Invitations | 64 | 26 |
| Gold Pass invitations | 15 | 1 |
| Other invitations | 49 Green Pass | 25 |
| Lowest invited ROI score | 316 | 75 |
The scores above belong to Tasmania's Registration of Interest (ROI) ranking system. They should not be presented as federal visa points cutoffs.
The update lists 873 nomination places available for subclass 190 and 654 for subclass 491, alongside 823 and 630 submitted ROIs respectively. These are a dated program snapshot, not a reservation of a place for an individual.
Migration Tasmania checks claimed attributes during assessment. Applicants should retain evidence for every claimed priority attribute and avoid inflating their ranking. An invitation should be read carefully before a nomination application is lodged.
For planning, distinguish three separate questions: whether your pathway fits your circumstances, whether your ROI is competitive, and whether the evidence supports what you claimed. A published invitation score alone cannot answer all three.
