Tourist & Visit Visa for Indian Citizens
Indian ordinary-passport holders generally need a UAE entry permit or tourist visa before travelling, unless they qualify for a specific visa-on-arrival or facilitated entry category. The appropriate route depends on passport, eligible foreign visas or residence permits, and the issuing emirate.

Indian citizens with ordinary passports generally require a pre-arranged visa, unless they meet the criteria for an applicable facilitated entry or visa-on-arrival route. The UAE has specific provisions for Indian nationals holding qualifying foreign residence permissions. Confirm current eligibility with ICP, GDRFA or the airline before travel.
Depending on the sponsor and visa type, UAE tourist visas can permit 30, 60 or sometimes 90 days of stay. Single- and multiple-entry options may be available. The five-year multiple-entry tourist visa is a distinct category with conditions, including financial and insurance requirements; it is not automatically available to all applicants.
Typically: a passport valid at least six months, a recent passport photograph, travel itinerary, return or onward ticket, accommodation or host details, and health insurance where required. Additional proof of funds, sponsor documents, foreign residence permit or eligible visa may be required for particular categories.
Identify the correct route and emirate, then apply through an eligible airline, licensed UAE tourism establishment, hotel or authorised channel. Submit accurate passport and travel details, pay the disclosed charges and wait for the issued electronic entry permission. The UAE government notes that its embassies do not issue tourist visas.
There is no single government fee covering every UAE tourist visa. Costs vary by category, stay length, issuing authority, sponsorship, service fees, insurance and any financial guarantee. Processing times also vary; avoid advertising a universal approval timeframe. Request an itemised quotation before paying.
In June 2026, ICP described 14-day and 60-day facilitated entry visa categories for eligible nationalities, including India, when travellers hold valid residence permits issued by specified countries such as the US, UK, EU states, Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand or Canada. The 14-day route may be extendable once, while the 60-day route is single-entry and non-extendable under that announcement. These are not the same as a standard tourist visa.
This is a separate self-sponsored tourism route. Official UAE guidance specifies a bank balance of US$4,000 or equivalent during the preceding six months, valid UAE health insurance and onward or return ticket requirements, among other conditions. Stay limits and extensions are governed by the issued permission.
A tourist visa is not a work permit. Extensions depend on visa type and issuing authority. Do not overstay; applicable fines and immigration consequences may follow. Check permission details before booking travel.
We assist with eligibility screening, document checklists, application preparation and process guidance. Government authorities decide visa applications and entry permission; approval cannot be guaranteed.
