Canada issued 792 Invitations to Apply in Express Entry draw 451 on 26 October 2026. The Provincial Nominee Program round had a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score of 761. IRCC's official results confirm that this was a PNP-specific round.
| Detail | Official result |
|---|---|
| Draw number | 451 |
| Round date | 26 October 2026 |
| Round type | Provincial Nominee Program |
| Invitations issued | 792 |
| Lowest CRS invited | 761 |
| Round time | 10:38:23 UTC |
| Tie-break timestamp | 3 April 2026, 18:00:26 UTC |
The tie-break matters where candidates share the lowest invited score: IRCC uses the Express Entry profile submission date and time to distinguish candidates at that threshold. A CRS score alone does not describe every condition of selection.
The previous PNP draw, number 448 on 13 October 2026, issued 752 invitations at CRS 772. The latest round therefore issued 40 more invitations, while the cutoff fell by 11 points.
This is a comparison between two PNP rounds. It should not be presented as an 11-point decrease across every Express Entry pathway, or as a prediction that the next cutoff will also fall. Different round types select different groups of eligible candidates.
A PNP-specific draw invites candidates who qualify for that program. Applicants without the required provincial nomination should not read CRS 761 as a general invitation threshold available to every person in the Express Entry pool.
For a prospective applicant, the practical starting point is the immigration pathway that fits their profile. For an invited candidate, the priority is ensuring that the information supporting the invitation is accurate and the permanent-residence application can be supported with genuine evidence. An invitation is an opportunity to apply; it is not a grant of permanent residence.
