Manitoba PNP Invites 526 in the Latest Manitoba PNP Draw

Manitoba PNP conducted 2nd draw in the month of May and it took place on May 18, 2023. Three Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs) of the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) invited a total of 526 immigration applicants. According to the province’s Expression of Interest (EOI) system, the number of invites sent out for each program is listed below, along with the minimum score cut-off:

Skilled Workers in Manitoba

Occupation-specific Draw:

  • 287 invitations with a minimum CRS score of 610

Based on data released by Statistics Canada, profiles indicating current employment in Manitoba in occupations with high labor demands were taken into consideration.

In this draw, the following minor categories of the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 2021 were taken into account:

  • 7330 – Transport and transit drivers

All Occupation Draw:

  • 191 invitations with a minimum CRS score of 701

Skilled Workers Overseas

  • 27 invitations with a minimum CRS score of 721; and

International Education Stream

  • 21 invitations with no score requirement.

This is the #178th draw. Among these invitations, 225 were issued to candidates in the Express Entry system.

What are the application criteria for Manitoba PNP Skilled Workers Overseas?

Expressions of Interest from candidates for Skilled Worker Overseas positions have only been taken into account if they have either of the following:

  • a. Have been invited by the MPNP via a Strategic Recruitment Initiative, or
  • b. Hold a current Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code.

Candidates invited with an Express Entry profile number and job seeker validation code will only be qualified to receive a nomination if the Canada Express Entry profile is active at the time of the application assessment.

How to apply for Manitoba PNP as a skilled worker overseas?

  • Make an Expression of Interest (EOI) profile.
  • Upon receiving the Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA), submit a full application to MPNP.
  • Your profile will be evaluated by the MPNP officer.
  • You will receive a nomination by the MPNP once the profile has passed the evaluation successfully.
  • Now you have a set timeline of 180 days from the date of nomination to apply for a Canada PR Visa.
