In a recent announcement, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has issued a total of 1,696 Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates under the Human Capital Priorities stream. This draw, held on September 26, 2023, targeted individuals with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores ranging from 350 to 462.
The OINP selected these candidates from the pool of Express Entry profiles created in the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) system over the past year, from September 26, 2022, to September 26, 2023. Notably, this draw was specifically tailored as a “Health draw,” reflecting Ontario’s focus on attracting skilled professionals with expertise in the healthcare sector.
This significant initiative by the OINP is in line with their commitment to addressing the province’s labour market needs, particularly in critical sectors like healthcare, ensuring that skilled workers contribute to the growth and development of Ontario’s communities.
The newly introduced Express Entry Human Capital Priorities stream is designed to address the growing need for healthcare professionals in Ontario.
